- You don't need a high-end designer or a lot of money to
achieve a luxurious look in your home.
- In a living room, area rugs should be at least partially under
all major pieces of seating but not under side tables or TV
consoles to avoid the appearance of wall-to-wall carpeting.
- Three lamps per room can create cozy pools of light, but start
with fewer if space is a concern and add more as needed.
