- Sheers can be replaced with open weave linen or thin cotton for a more elegant, light-filtering window treatment.
- Avoid tension rods for window treatments as they reduce natural light and are best suited for showers.
- For rooms with a centered front door, create distinct zones using smaller rugs and purposeful furniture arrangements to avoid a divided look.
