- Now is the best time to shop for home design items, as January
offers some of the biggest sales of the year.
- Layering decorative rugs on top of carpeted floors can create a
designer look, but ensure the bottom rug is low pile to avoid
tripping hazards.
- Using a plush, small Flocati rug in the bedroom can add comfort
and contrast without overwhelming the space.
