- Adding architectural trim like crown molding or chair rails in
a space with low ceilings and existing beams might not achieve the
desired effect of adding historical charm.
- To bring historical character back to a renovated home, consider
adding vintage-inspired furniture, rugs, and drapes rather than
extensive architectural changes.
- For studio apartments, using a Murphy bed can offer practicality
and comfort without the daily hassle of setting up and storing
bedding like a sofa bed would require.
