- Rugs can visually delineate different areas in an open floor
plan, with larger rugs making spaces appear bigger and more
defined.
- Accent walls should highlight the most visually appealing
elements of a room, such as a sofa or bed, rather than drawing
attention to electronics.
- In an office space with high ceilings, sheer curtains can
effectively partition areas without creating the illusion of
entirely separate rooms.
