- Measuring from the floor or ceiling, rather than using a
level, ensures pictures are hung evenly and look straight relative
to the room's natural lines.
- Switching up the dominant colors in an open floor plan can
maintain cohesion while giving each room a unique feel.
- Using a focal wall for wallpaper or paint should highlight
significant features like a bed or sofa, and avoid less impactful
areas such as behind a TV.
