- Don't be afraid to block large, low-to-the-ground windows with
smaller, inconsequential furniture like upholstered benches, and
add floor-length drapes for a more cohesive look.
- In two-tone kitchens, removing dark crown molding from white
upper cabinets and replacing mismatched knobs with uniform pulls
can significantly elevate the aesthetic.
- Avoid using white on white in kitchens as it can make elements
look mismatched and dated; instead, choose a backsplash with a
distinct color to add personality and freshness.
