- A degree from prestigious design schools may not provide
practical, real-world experience necessary for running a smaller or
more hands-on interior design firm.
- When decorating a room with multiple windows, use the same type
of window treatment on all windows for a cohesive look, and
consider fully dressing windows with both shades and curtains.
- In a small powder room, avoid clutter and opt for impactful
elements like a larger mirror and a bold paint color to create a
clean and visually appealing space.
